Terms & Conditions

MEMBERS GUEST RATE

  • A visitor will only be entitled to this rate once a month, thereafter the applicable VISITOR rate will apply.

PREPAID GOLF OPTIONS

  • Only applicable to casual & club competition golf at Mount Edgecombe Country Club.
  • Greens fees are payable for external events & corporate golf days.
  • No refunds on any prepaid options and rounds to be used during 2026 only.
  • You need to have a booked tee time to play either 9 or 18 holes and check in at the Golf Shop at all times, before commencing play.
  • All Fees are inclusive of VAT.

COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP

  • Limited to a maximum of 20 rounds per year and you need to reside in the towns of Pietermaritzburg, Scottburgh, Stanger or beyond an imaginary line joining these towns.
  • Monthly payment options are available. Kindly note that this is not a monthly membership but a payment plan – please contact Accounts to discuss. A 10% administration fee as well as an interest levy will be charged and only applicable on a signed debit order form.


SENIOR GREEN FEE RATES:

Applies to golfers as soon as they turn 60 years of age.
The onus is on the golfer to inform the Country Club in writing of this change.

On-Course Experience:

  • Golf Day Event Coordinator and professional MECC staff for smooth operations
  • Tee-off from both tees at 11:00
  • Accurate scoring managed by MECC staff
  • Starters provided by MECC
  • Setup of your branding or sponsors’ branding on allocated holes
  • Nearest-to-the-pin and longest drive markers featuring your logo
  • Registration area with tables and chairs
  • Sponsored prize for your Prize-Giving (e.g., 1 × 4-Ball Voucher)
  • Pre-ordering and delivery of on-course drinks and snacks
