Golf & Etiquette at Mount Edgecombe

A Tradition of Excellence, A Standard of Respect

At Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estate, golf is more than a sport, it’s a way of life. Our two championship courses, The Woods and The Lakes, offer an exceptional golfing experience framed by scenic views and world-class facilities. But it’s our commitment to etiquette, integrity, and community that truly sets us apart.

Drive Responsibly, Play Considerately

Golf carts are available for your comfort and convenience, but we ask that they are used with care to protect our courses.

Please:

  • Stay on designated cart paths near tees and greens
  • Avoid driving on wet or soft turf
  • Do not exceed two persons per cart
  • Use caution when navigating slopes and bridges
Preserving Pristine Fairways and Greens

Every golfer at Mount Edgecombe plays a part in maintaining our courses’ immaculate condition. Help us protect this shared space by:

  • Replacing all divots
  • Repairing pitch marks on greens
  • Raking bunkers after play
  • Disposing of litter in provided bins

Together, we keep The Woods and The Lakes in championship condition, every day.

Golf is a Gentleman’s and Lady’s Game

Respect lies at the heart of the Mount Edgecombe golfing experience. We ask all players to:

  • Show courtesy to fellow players and staff
  • Keep noise to a minimum
  • Avoid mobile phone use during play
  • Follow all rules of golf and local course guidelines

Golf is a self-regulated sport — thank you for upholding its proud traditions.
