The Mount Edgecombe Driving Range, open to both members and the public, is operated by Head Professional and General Manager, Steve Cottingham, PGA Master Professional. Paddling on Pani Dam is a special experience right in the heart of The Lakes Course. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calls of birds, you can glide across calm waters and feel completely immersed in nature.
The estate has a regular paddling group, bringing together members who enjoy this peaceful activity. It’s a chance to move, breathe, and enjoy the water alongside others. Afterwards, members often relax at the Watershed Café with a drink or snack while taking in the views.
Winding through the heart of Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estate, our 15km trail offers an unforgettable experience for runners, walkers, and mountain bikers. Designed and maintained by Ian Wilson of Single Track Minded, the trail meanders through breathtaking landscapes, taking in rolling fairways, indigenous woodlands, and panoramic vistas that showcase the natural beauty of the estate.
Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, from birds and small mammals to the occasional sighting of larger creatures, making every journey a chance to connect with nature. Open outside of golf hours, the trail provides a perfect escape for fitness, fresh air, and exploration, whether you’re seeking a vigorous workout or a leisurely adventure.

The estate’s waters are home to species such as Bass, Carp, Tilapia, Barbel, and Eels, providing a rewarding experience in a serene setting. Catch and release is encouraged to promote sustainable fishing, allowing the beauty of the waters to be enjoyed for years to come.
Fishing here is as much about the calm and tranquility of the surroundings as it is about the catch, a quiet moment to connect with nature right on the estate.
Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estate is home to a vibrant and active Bird and Environmental Club, where members share a passion for nature and wildlife.
