Our active Ladies Golf Section is currently run by an elected committee headed by the captain, with club competitions held at the Mount Edgecombe Country Club on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings, either on The Woods or The Lakes.
The ladies section welcomes visitors to play in our official weekly competitions. To enter into the draw for club competitions, please call Winnie at the pro-shop on 031 502 1010.
If you are new to our section or a visitor, please contact our Lady Captain – Tanya Adams on 083 284 6256 – who will welcome you and assist with all the necessary arrangements and introductions
There are also opportunities to play social golf on a Thursday or Friday morning or to learn to play golf by joining our “Bunnies” group.
MECC is actively involved in two ladies leagues – when we compete against other Clubs in the Durban Region; The Midweek league which is played on the host clubs weekly competition day and Business League which is played on either a Saturday or Sunday. To participate in the ladies league, a player needs to be a registered member of a club. If you are interested in joining MECC with a view to playing league, please contact our Ladies Captain
