With the changes happening on Course 1 and the formation of the CIC, the Golf Committee are looking at the opportunity to make some positive changes to the future of Mount Edgecombe Country Club.
Name Change
We are considering changes the names of both Course 1 and Course 2. The idea is to give each course its own identity and ultimately allows us to market two completely different courses.
We would like you, the Members, to be involved in the process, and have set up a competition to decide which name will be used for each Course. A free dinner for 4 people will be given to the winners of the competition and this will be decided by the Golf Committee. Please submit your entry by the 6th of March to golfdirector@mountecc.co.za

– The history of the area
– The history of the Course
– The future of South Africa
Course Layout
The Committee are considering changing the layout of the front nine on Course 1 for a number of reasons. We will be doing a trial in the next few weeks and would appreciate your feedback. The new proposed layout will be as follows – Holes 1-2-3-7-6-4-5-8-9. I look forward to receiving your feedback!
